Hello friends! Let me start by saying that this isn't just for Twilight merch, but ANYTHING. This is not a spam post; I found a really good site a month or two ago, but before saying anything, I wanted to test the waters to be sure it was legit for all of you.

It's really easy to use this site, and you can sign up no matter where you're from! You only have to be 13 to join.

What you do is complete offers (almost all are free, and you don't have to do the paid ones), fill out surveys, and even play games against other members to earn points. (you can also earn cash that you can withdraw to your paypal if you use the cashle.com platform that you can switch to by clicking a button at the top left of the screen)

Once you have your points, you can buy anything from amazon.com that they have available (that includes stuff in the used sections), you can get gift certificates, you can even place manual orders if you find an item you want cheaper on a different site.

Before you ask "Why would they give stuff away for free???" The answer is that the site isn't losing any money. They also get paid by the advertisers that supply the offers and surveys every time that you complete them. So, it's a win-win for everyone!

Now, a lot of offers require you to be 18, but I just put that as my age when I fill out the forms for them, and have never had any problems.

I've been a member for about 3 months, but have only been truly earning for about a month and a half, and I've made around 4000 ($40 in points!) I'm saving for the Carlisle Cullen Stand-Up, but I got myself three things from the site; A "Protected by Carlisle Cullen" Decal, a New Moon cup, and a bundle of those special New Moon cards that Burger King was giving out during their promotion. And I got the products every single time. Points2Shop always let me know when the order approved, and they gave me a tracking number if the order came with one so I could keep an eye on my item...They'll even handle issues with the seller for you if there's a problem.

If you need to know more information you can check their forums where members post the things that they have received for earning points on the points2shop website. They also have a shoutbox in the side, where you can ask questions live, in order to get responses. There are also links on the site that offer tips and advice for completing offers.

Well, many of you know that I am terrible when it comes to updating my journal. So I think a new entry is in order.

Let's start with school...Blah blah blah. Not much to say; it's the same ol' story, same ol' song and dance. I'm working on finishing my year a little early so I have a head start on junior year. Wow, junior year. I feel so old. >.<

Family? My mother and I still have a fantastic relationship (amazing for a teenager, eh?) and I have wonderful bonds with my father and his side of the family. But certain members in my family continue to frustrate me. I think that this is just about the only website where I don't have a family member stalking me because they're over-protective and convinced that I'm going to be abducted at EVERY turn or post something naughty. (Big thanks to my mum for respecting my privacy and trusting me. She rocks!) But it honestly wouldn't surprise me if someone WAS watching me here. That's very disappointing; not angering, but disappointing. I don't feel as though I have a refuge anymore, and it's quite depressing. I feel as though I have no place to freely express myself and vent without fear of being judged or reprimanded simply because I'm saying what I feel in a perfectly healthy way amongst my friends here. I'm trying to be as diplomatic about this as possible, but at this point, I'm done with it. I'm numb when it comes to these issues. I know that that is not the best for my well-being, but it is the only option I am truly free to exercise right now. As a minor, despite my emotions and intellect, I am unjustly not allowed to stand up for myself. Instead, as teenagers, we must bear this discrimination until the age of eighteen, when we feel liberated and though we may be scared, we are relieved to have the chance to use our voice. I just wish that I didn't have to wait to speak, because my voice is weakening. But even if I was allowed, I don't have the energy. I'll still stand up if needed, but I'm drained emotionally.

On a happier note, New Moon will be out on DVD shortly! We are almost down to one month, Twilighters! I've also just heard that ALL New Moon DVDs will have the sneek peak of Eclipse. *is dead* (Speaking of Eclipse, have you seen the stills that leaked??? I am swooning!) I want to get the three-disc from Target at some point, but I think I'll be hitting up Wal-Mart for the "Ultimate Fan Edition" first, since we don't have a Target here...But Wal-Mart is also having "Twilight Shops" again! I'm saving to hit up the merch. $10 shirts, $10 bags, $5 jewelry? Yes please! But there's even more Twilighty goodness! On Valentine's Day, my mother got me two New Moon posters; 1 of Bella and the Cullens (to replace the one my cat shredded ) and the Wolf Pack Also, Twilight: The Graphic Novel Volume 1 comes out four days before the NM DVD, and I'm ordering my copy the day it comes out! I won a credit to purchase it, and I'm psyched! I love manga and graphic novels, and the art for this looked SO beautiful. I will try to post pics on a blog for you all

Meanwhile, I'm slowly nearing the end of my "Glee" withdrawal. It comes back in April...So about two months left. I can't believe it's already been off the air for a couple of months! I'm holding myself over by reading fics here and there, watching fan-vids, and watching eps I've downloaded. It's hard, but I'm managing...I'm just jonesing to see what happens to Will and Emma when it comes back! Plus, I want Kurt to get some arm candy...He needs a boyfriend, darn it! Oh, and I hear that the Cheno will be back...What's going on with April Rhodes and why is she returning?! Please God, don't make her a love interest for Will I love Kristin, but if Will gets another love before Emma, it CAN'T be April lol And since we're talking about love, I feel genuinely bad for Terri...A lot of Wemma shippers on the Glee forum absolutely detest her, and I did too, at first. But I've been open, and throughout the season, I've come to see Terri differently. I don't believe that she and Will are right for each other, but she is more human and fragile, and loving than she appears. I really hope they give her a happier ending. Terri deserves to have someone, she just needs to work through her issues first. Sorry fellow shippers, but this Wemma lover also has a soft spot for Terri.

1. I procrastinate. Badly. Honestly, I should be on my school's website working right now, but I'm here. Why? I don't know, but I'm putting it off until late into the night XD

2. I like to draw, but I'm terrible at it...Well, terrible at drawing regular people anyway. I still like drawing them though, because it helps me improve. But I'm better at drawing inanimate objects and cartoon characters.

3. I always cry towards the end of Beauty and the Beast, it touches me.

4. In addition to my fan stories, I'm writing an original book. I don't know when it will be finished, but my dream is to have it done and in print by the time that I'm 17.

5. I hate watching myself on camera. I can't stand to see any acting, singing, dancing, etc. that I've done. It makes me cringe.

6. Some of my best friends are Helenaists and Fanpires that I've met online. I know that that sounds completely and utterly nerdy, but it's the truth. I've gotten to know some genuinely amazing people, whom I'm lucky to call my pals.

7. I've lived in the same city my entire life. Yep, true story. I've made up for it by travelling a lot.

8. The only TV show that I follow every week is "Glee", and my OTP on that show is Will/Emma! I love them

9. I only have my earlobes pierced, but I'm hoping to get a nose stud when I turn sixteen. I don't know why, but I really want a piercing there. I don't want another one anywhere else, but I'm dying to get the nose done.

10. March 2nd will mark my two year anniversary of not eating meat.

STEP ONE

* If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.
